A self-taught designer who launched a hat line in New York in 1990, sold at Barneys and Neiman Marcus, then co-founded couture bridal house Birnbaum and Bullock in 1993. Robert Bullock Bride followed in 2009, a couture look with a timeless, elegant feel at a more accessible price.
